Yo Yo Honey Singh and Badshah don’t need to be introduced! Both are at the top when we talk about the most successful traditional Indian rappers. Not many people know that the duo started their business journey together. But over time, relations between them deteriorated.
Those who follow the two rappers very closely know that they started the journey together as a member of a music group called Mafia Mundeer. Apart from them, renowned rappers like Ikka and Raftaar were also part of the group.
In 2012, the group finally disbanded and each member began performing on their own and rose to fame.
Yo Yo Honey Singh again tried to reunite and gave several hits with his newly formed band involving Badshah, J-Star, Alfaaz and other artists. Despite a decent success, things did not go well as DJ frontman Waaley Babu accused Honey Singh of not giving due credits. They finally decided to go their separate ways. This is how the war between the two began.
Hits like Brown Rang and Dope Shope are said to have been written by Badshah and Raftaar. However, the two artists did not receive the due credit and it was Yo Yo Honey Singh who won all the praise.
After such incidents, reports indicate that the two have sorted out their issues and everything is fine with them. However, during the launch of a trailer for the Punjabi movie “Zorawar”, Honey did a hard-hitting search of Badshah.
A reporter asked Honey Singh if Badshah had passed him to become the most successful Indian rapper with hits like DJ Waaley Babu, Kar Gayi Chull and others. In a response, Honey said, “Have you driven a Rolls-Royce? There is a difference between a Rolls-Royce (an ultra-luxury car brand) and a Nano (the cheapest car in the world).
It’s real desi beef between the two rappers!
