Regarding the show’s high viewership ratings, Jin Seo Yeon said it was all down to Honey Lee. “I think Honey Lee played a huge role in terms of the audience and popularity of the show,” she said. “She did the hundred job on her own. I am grateful to him and I want to give him all the honor. I did my best to match his balance. I don’t know how it went, but I wanted to match my game to his. “

When asked how she was chosen, she said, “I heard the reason I was chosen a few days ago. It’s because Honey Lee said she liked my casting. She laughed and said, “Thanks, Honey Lee.”

Jin Seo Yeon also chose a scene with Honey Lee as the moment she knew the drama would turn out well. “There is a scene in Episode 1 where Yeon Joo is screaming,” she said. “She shouts, ‘Who am I?’ and start throwing things away. The actors didn’t even know each other well at the time, but she wasn’t afraid to let go in front of everyone. When I saw her do that, I thought, “This drama is going to work out.”

She said in another interview: “Of all the people I have met, she has the best character. She’s a brilliant actress, but before being an actress, she’s a brilliant person. She is very respectful and kind. I was grateful every moment I was in the drama and it was an honor to work with her. She’s such a kind and caring person that I think she’s the best person I’ve worked with in my entire acting career.

Although the drama is a comedy, the role of Jin Seo Yeon was not particularly comedic. She said: “I have the ambition to do comedy, but it is only a personal ambition. For Han Sung Hye’s character, comedy wasn’t the right tone for her. Honey Lee was really good at comedy, so I had to balance that out. I think in episode 16, as I was running away, the director made it funny using slow motion. I think she collapsed at the end and it was kind of funny.

Jin Seo Yeon chose a conflict scene with Honey Lee as one of his most memorable scenes in the drama. “The biggest thing was when I went into Jo Yeon Joo’s office and slapped him. It was the first time I said with my own mouth, ‘So I killed your grandmother. . So what?’ I felt like a sociopath. Until then, Han Sung Hye had hidden all her sins and actions, but this was the first time she had let it all out. While I was slapping her, Honey was grabbing my wrist and I had a bruise there. I didn’t want her to feel sorry, so I kept it hidden until the end, but it really felt like I was working with an actor who was good at acting scenes. ‘action at that time.

Regarding her future roles, she said, “I think the villain roles are more fun. You can show more when you play a villain. The kind and justice-oriented characters are quite similar and there is a limit what you can do, but there are crazy villains, crazy villains who pretend to be nice, really mean villains, two-faced villains, and more. You can express a lot of different genres depending on how. you tackle it, so it’s more fun.
