Coupon app ranking sees competitors changing position

Like shoppers jostling for the latest item on sale in a brick-and-mortar store, coupon apps move quickly in our monthly ranking of competitors in that category.

Accordingly, the latest PYMNTS Rating of coupon app providers saw several applications change position or join the list after being absent. And, with a few tie scores, the top 10 includes a total of 15 coupon apps.

The first five

Two contenders share the No. 1 spot this month. With a tie score of 87, there is let’s groupwho passes from the second rank, and Honey Smart Shopping Assistant, who jumps from the third.

Climbing the ladder is ShopSavvywho was ranked 10th last time but now sits in 7th place.

Sharing eighth place in the standings, three contenders tied: Krazy Coupon Lady, Kick and Slickdeals. All three are new to the top 10 this month.

At #9 there is another tie score. Crate 51 joins the list this month, while RetailMeNot moved up from 10th place in last month’s standings.

Closing the top 10 is Smart Source Couponswhich is another contestant joining the leaderboard this month.
