Newcastle Red Bulls' 10th Signing: Cam Jordan Arrives for 2026/27 PREM Season! (2026)

The Newcastle Red Bulls are making waves in the rugby world with their impressive transfer activity, and they have now added a significant asset to their roster: Gloucester lock Cam Jordan. This strategic move marks Jordan as the club's tenth recruit ahead of the upcoming 2026/27 Premiership season.

Jordan, who has previously represented England at the age-group level, has just signed a two-year contract with the financially robust Red Bulls, enhancing their ambitions for the next season.

He joins a growing list of talented players that includes Elliot Millar-Mills, Franco Molina, Rusi Tuima, Sam Graham, Hoskins Sotutu, Max Hicks, Raffi Quirke, Josh Hodge, and Fehi Fineanganofo, all of whom have recently made their way to Kingston Park.

Reflecting on his new journey, Jordan expressed his enthusiasm, stating: "Red Bull is an organization renowned for its successful track record across various sports. The vision for the future of the Newcastle Red Bulls is incredibly exciting, and I am eager to contribute to this adventure."

Neil McIlroy, the sporting general manager for the Newcastle Red Bulls, weighed in on the signing, emphasizing Jordan’s physical presence and experience: "Cam is a strong, dynamic lock who will significantly enhance our forward play and set-piece strategies. He brings a wealth of Gallagher Premiership experience, is at an ideal stage in his career, and will be a pivotal player in our quest to gain an advantage on the field."

As McIlroy highlighted, Jordan's extensive experience is expected to make a substantial impact as the club aims to ascend the league standings.

Jordan's rugby journey began in the academy system, leading to his debut for Leicester Tigers against Wasps during the Anglo-Welsh Cup. Unfortunately, he only made a handful of appearances for the Tigers before moving on.

Subsequently, he found a home at Gloucester, where he quickly established himself as a key player, racking up 80 appearances to date, including 14 in the current season. Within his tenure at Gloucester, he has also successfully scored eight tries, with two of those coming this season alone.
