Despite his illness, Corbeau's performance was nothing short of remarkable. He had already claimed gold earlier this week in the 100-meter breaststroke, clocking an impressive 55.85 in the finals. And let's not forget his lifetime best of 55.54 in the prelims of the same event!
However, tonight's swim in the 200-meter breast was a bit slower than his usual pace, with a time of 2:01.27, which was over a second off his personal best and world record time of 1:59.52.
