The Jackass crew is back, but one of its original stars, Bam Margera, is not rejoining the crew for new stunts. Despite his absence, Margera's legacy will live on through the upcoming Jackass movie, which will feature archival footage of his daring exploits.

"I've been through two years of hell, and for what? To be fired from Jackass Forever. I'm hurt, and I don't want anything to do with it anymore," Margera shared with TMZ.
Margera's journey with Jackass has been a rollercoaster. He invested heavily in his recovery, only to be told he wasn't needed for the movie and wouldn't receive the promised $5 million. It's a story of betrayal and humiliation.
"I've got PTSD from it all. The title 'ex-Jackass star' is a burden I have to carry. The abandonment and embarrassment are real, and I had to let it go," he added.
Despite his strong words, Margera will appear in the upcoming film, thanks to the archival footage. The crew plans to create something new from old clips, and Margera is all for it.
"I remember filming so much hilarious stuff that never made it into the movie. It's gnarly, but I say, go for it! I don't have to film anything new, and I don't want to," he explained.
Margera's focus now is on his family and skateboarding. He appeared on Jackass from 2000 to 2001 and continued to be a key part of the ensemble in multiple films and TV specials. However, in 2022, he sued Paramount Pictures, alleging wrongful termination and coercion.
The lawsuit named several parties, including MTV, Jeffrey Tremaine, and others. It's unclear if a settlement was reached, but one thing is certain: Bam Margera's Jackass chapter is closed.
