A little warmer for the rest of the week

Better weather is on the way. It won’t be scorching heat by any means, but with the humidity rising late in the day, you’ll likely be using the air conditioner a bit more. The increased humidity in the air could also eventually contribute to producing a few thunderstorms.

Today: Rather sunny and a little warmer.

High: 83 Wind: West 5-10

This evening: Mostly bright and comfortable.

Low: 60 Wind: SW around 5

Wednesday: Usually sunny and warm.

High: 84 Wind: SW around 10

Today will be another beautiful summer day, just a little warmer than yesterday. We will have good sunshine and high temperatures in the 80’s. Westerly winds will vary from 5 to 10 mph. Tomorrow will be very similar, just a degree or two higher with southwest winds of around 10 mph.

Clouds will increase further on Thursday as a low pressure trough arrives from the west. This weather system could possibly produce a few scattered thunderstorms from Thursday evening to Friday. At this time, this does not appear to be a very high threat from severe weather. High temperatures on Thursday and Friday are expected to be in the low 80s.

Humidity will increase on Friday and conditions will remain rather sweltering over the weekend and early next week. A few weaker low pressure systems will be found in the upper Midwest over the weekend and this will continue to produce a few showers or storms. The highest probability appears to be from late Saturday afternoon to Saturday evening. A slight chance of wet weather will also persist on Monday. Highs will likely reach the mid-80s on Saturday, the upper mid-80s on Sunday, and the upper 80s at around 90 on Monday.
