2021 Holiday Offers for Christmas and New Years


The holidays are a great time to plan warm reunions with family and friends. But all of these things take time and effort.

That’s why the holidays are a great time to consider leaving the cooking to someone else. Better yet, you can support local restaurants at the same time.

[Read more]Aria takes reservations for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on December 24 and 25. Guests can choose between a special pre-set holiday menu (with a choice of prime rib or tenderloin) or the standard Aria menu. Reservations can be made online or by phone.

Aria also accepts reservations for the New Years Eve dinner between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. Choose from Aria’s standard menu or an enhanced menu (featuring oysters, seafood, fillets, and more). Reservations can be made online or by phone.

[Read more]Bavette will offer Christmas dinners prepared for four with a choice of Roast Beef Tenderloin with Thyme and Garlic ($ 240) or Roast Pork Bone with Fennel Pollen ($ 192). Accompaniments for both include a bordelaise sauce, a potato gratin with black garlic and celeriac, roasted mushrooms with kale and raw ham, a salad of pickled apples, dried cherries, nuggets and blue cheese, rolls and cultured butter, and a sticky marmalade, ginger and nutmeg cake for dessert. Meats will require cooking (instructions included), with fully prepared sides that can be reheated and served. Both meals will be offered in servings of 4 (please order for 4, 8 or 12, etc.). The order deadline is December 15th with pickup on December 23rd and 24th. All orders can be placed online, by phone or by email ([email protected]).

Hot and eaten New Years Eve dinners will also be available. Each meal serves two for $ 120. Meals include veal osso bucco; celeriac and black truffle lasagna, topped with crab breadcrumbs; roasted raab broccoli; citrus, pomegranate and goat cheese salad; rolls and cultured butter; and sacher torte with raspberries and whipped cream for dessert. A variety of holiday desserts and baked goods from Black Shoe Bakery will be available for pre-order online starting Monday, December 13 (with pickup starting December 16).

Offers will include 9-inch pies, including lime, apples and pecans ($ 20 to $ 22); buns (six for $ 6 or a dozen for $ 12); 6-inch cakes including spices, red velvet, and German chocolate ($ 36); retro cookie boxes with peanut blossoms (4), stained glass cookies (4), and mint snowballs (4) for $ 24; chocolate cookie boxes with hot cocoa cookies (4), chocolate chips (4) and salted brown butter chocolate chip cookies (4) for $ 24; boxes of nut cookies including Nutella rugelach (4), pecan snowballs (4) and cranberry-pistachio shortbread (4) for $ 24; and cinnamon buns with cream cheese frosting (four for $ 18).
